 Photo of the Month. Welcome to the web site of Richard Becker. I am a semi-professional photographer living near Llanidloes, a small town in the county of Powys, the rural centre of Wales in the United Kingdom. I specialise in macro (close-up) photography, in particular of insects and flowers. |
 The majority of the images on these pages were taken on our small farm in the Welsh hills. I prefer to get to know an area intimately rather than to chase trophy images across the world. By visiting the same places throughout the year, and walking the same paths on an almost daily basis I can find images that would be missed on a brief visit, and produce a more complete and informative portrayal of the nature of a place. |
